INUKSHUK is our multi-modal fusion research for Arctic and maritime domain awareness. It takes disparate, often contradictory sensor streams and binds them into a single track you can actually trust, even when half the inputs disagree with the other half.

A real DND problem, not a whitepaper.

Challenge 13 asks how to fuse space-based and terrestrial sensing for Arctic operations, where coverage is sparse and the stakes are national. N51 is engaged in that program, which means the research is pointed at a problem the Department of National Defence actually posed.

Learned fusion at this level demands deep compute, careful validation, and the sort of multi-year defence testing you cannot shortcut. INUKSHUK sits above the commercial core on purpose, feeding it as the science matures.
